動物園

隨意地在有線電線上轉台，在影院台將眼睛留住，注目一齣日本電影《少年馴象師》，有溫文爾雅兼耐看的常盤貴子擔綱，日籍女星中，她是其中一個「賣飛佛」。由於收看時電影已播到一半，故事大致是講述少年在動物園莊的生活和對小象的感情。

一邊收看感人的情節，一邊突然想起我們的動物園呢？香港還有動物園嗎？（如果有兩隻熊貓那兒就是動物園的話，就算有罷了！）

是城市人怕動物所帶來的衛生、管理風險？還是香港真不適宜飼養大型動物呢？

童年時，我看過大象、獅子、老虎……現在的小朋友們看過真的大象嗎？有，父母可能已帶了她們的寶貝到外地觀賞過，但不是每個家庭經濟許可罷！……起碼這算是我其中的童年回憶。

換另一角度，讓野生動物長期困在鐵籠中，為了滿足我們的回憶去剝奪了牠們的自由，又是說不得過去。
